Guests Are welcome to attend
Our educational meetings are designed to share knowledge about rocks, minerals, and related subjects. Each meeting may feature guest speakers, refreshments, silent auction, and information of upcoming events and activities within the Society. Guests are warmly welcome to attend and explore the fascinating world of gem and minerals with us.

Potluck Dinner
- Setup will begin at 5:30 PM and the Potluck Dinner will start at 6:30 PM.
- Volunteers are encouraged to arrive early to help set up and stay for cleanup. Please label any containers or serving utensils you bring.
- Please bring your own plates & utensils.
- The Society will provide turkey, ham & beverages.

What to Bring
Please bring the suggested potluck item as determined by the first letter of your last name:
- A - F Side/Salad (ex. pasta salad, fruit salad, steamed vegetables, dinner rolls, etc.)
- G - L Dessert (ex. brownies, cookies, cakes, pies, etc.)
- M - Z Hot/Main Dish (ex. casserole, pasta, sandwiches, soup, etc.)

Optional Gift Exchange
A lighthearted way to spread some holiday cheer and share a little surprise with fellow members. If you'd like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift valued at a maximum of $10. Gifts should be labeled according to the recipient: "female," "male," or "junior," depending on your gender or age group.

Installation of Officers
During this event, we’ll officially install the new Board of Directors for the upcoming year. This is an important tradition where we honor those stepping into leadership roles and thank those who are finishing their terms.

Awards Ceremonies
This includes the presentation of the Lifetime Member Award for Jim Hutchings and Gloria Marie, who have been active members of the Society for 25 years, as well as the Rockhound of the Year for one of our members who has demonstrated outstanding service to the Society. Additionally, the CFMS Triangles & Bars will be given to this past year's Officers in recognition of their hard work and dedication.
