Silent Auction

Explore Bargin Treasures and Uncover Remarkable Finds

The Silent Auction is a highlight of our Annual Gem and Mineral Show, offering attendees the opportunity to bid on and win a variety of unique and valuable items. As many previous attendees can attest, the Silent Auction is the cheapest field trip you will ever make. With a chance to acquire rare and beautiful items at unbeatable prices, you don't want to miss out. And remember, if you walk out of the show with a straight back unbowed by the load you are carrying, you’ve missed the auction area and need to return to complete your successful field trip.

Silent Auction Schedule

Auctions run from 10 AM - 4 PM on Saturday and 10 AM - 3 PM on Sunday.
Here are the types of auctions you can expect to see at our show:

  • Short Term

    Held every 30 minutes, these auctions feature a wide array of materials collected over many years by our members and friends. Starting bids range from $2 - $5.

  • Long Term

    Featuring special items and collections, these auctions run at least every hour during the show, with starting bids ranging from $15 - $45.

Buy It Now

For those who can't wait, our Buy It Now section includes lapidary equipment, books, magazines, slabs, buckets of rocks, yard rocks, geodes available for immediate purchase at bargain prices.

Rules and Guidelines

To ensure a smooth bidding process, please review our Silent Auction rules and guidelines:

  • Starting bids and bidding increments are clearly marked.

  • Closing auctions will be announced throughout the day.

  • Must be present at the event to claim winning bids.

  • Winning bids must be paid before collecting items.
