Lapidary Services
The Roseville Rock Rollers Gem and Mineral Society offers a variety of services to support your lapidary projects and rock-related interests. Our dedicated team and well-equipped facilities ensure that you have everything you need to bring your ideas to life, whether you’re identifying a mineral, cutting rocks, or accessing exclusive rock sales.
Rock Cutting
Our rock cutting service allows you to utilize our 18-inch and 24-inch saws to cut rocks into halves and slabs. Whether you need precise cuts for cabochon making or larger slabs for other projects, our equipment and experienced staff are here to assist.

Contact us to schedule a date and time to use the saws. Our volunteer instructors will help set up the saws and provide guidance to ensure safe and accurate cutting.

Rock Sales
Take advantage of our exclusive rock sales, featuring a wide variety of rocks and minerals that we have collected over the years through various donations. This is a great opportunity for Society members to find materials for thier projects, whether you're looking for something specific or just browsing for inspiration.

Mineral ID
Not sure what you’ve found? Our mineral identification service helps you determine the type of rocks and minerals in your collection. Our experts use a variety of tools and references to accurately identify your specimens.

Library
Our library offers a comprehensive collection of books, magazines, and videos on lapidary techniques, geology, and mineralogy. It’s a valuable resource for expanding your knowledge and finding inspiration for your next project.
The library is open during regular shop hours. Members can borrow materials, while non-members can only view material on-site.

Payment is accepted in cash or by check when you attend the scheduled service.
