Dream Catchers
Learn MoreAs part of the Stone Age Tools & Art badge, junior members will create dream catchers, learning about their meaning and the Indian lore behind the different parts. Participants will create dream catchers depending on their age and skill level.

Learn MoreOur Rookie Rock Rollers will also celebrate the season with a special December gathering. Junior members can lbring their favorite snacks to share, enjoy games, and even win prizes. It’s a great chance to wrap up the year with creativity, learning, and plenty of excitement. New and returning juniors are always welcome—come join the fun!

Placer County Fair
Join us at the Placer County Fair! We’ll have our mineral ID station, and displays to inspire young rockhounds and promote our Annual Show in August.

Dino Day | Sierra College
Join us at Dino Day for a fun, family-friendly science festival! We’ll be hosting a Mineral ID Booth and Activity Table where families can win prizes and explore rocks and minerals. Volunteers are needed—especially junior members—to assist with setup and outreach.

T-Shirt Design Contest
Winning DesignsSubmit an original design for our Roseville Rock Rollers t-shirts. The winning artwork will be printed on t-shirts and possibly other merchandise. These items will be available for purchase on our website, helping us boost ticket sales and promote our Show!

Camp Paradise Scholarship
Learn MoreSociety adult members are elgible to apply for a full or partial scholarship for one week at the CFMS's Annual Earth Science Studies at Camp Paradise in the Plumas National Forest near Clipper Mills, CA. The drawing will be held at the May Educational Meeting.

Learn MoreBoth Society members and non-members are eligible to purchase tickets for $10 each, so spread the word! Tickets will be available at the Educational Meetings and the drawing will be held at the June Educational Meeting.
