FIELD TRIPS OFFERED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AT THE SHOW

The Original Sixteen-to-One Mine

This field trip is to a currently operating underground gold mine located in Alleghany, in Northern California. Field trips will leave on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM.  Meet in the Roseville (Placer County) Fairgrounds parking lot.  Special price will be $49 per adult, with dependent children 1/2 price. 

Hats will be provided; however, participants must have the ability to walk on steep terrain.  Also, wear rubber boots, bring a flashlight and lunch, and wear long sleeves and pants. Plan to spend about 3 hours on the tour itself.
